I wanted to let you know how satisfying and enjoying it has been in your Basic Spanish Class over the last several weeks. I feel much more confident in my ability to communicate in Spanish now more than ever. I had originally tried to learn Spanish through a self-taught course with tapes and workbooks. I had limited success with the self-taught course. The self-taught course lacked the interaction you provide, along with the question/answer scenario. I believe the most beneficial part of the course for me has been speaking back and forth (role playing). Without this interaction, I would not have achieved the level 1 am at today. I firmly believe the self-taught course can complement my Spanish at this point, but it could have never taken me to where I am at now. The self-taught course seemed to be more of a memorization exercise. Your course was one of comprehension. Thanks for a job well done.
